ISMA 2026 Special Session
in memory of Dave Brown & Randy Allemang
Dave Brown and Randy Allemang were pioneers and giants in the field of EMA (Experimental Modal Analysis), last year they passed away much too early. In this special session friends and colleagues of Dave and Randy will review their scientific contributions and trace the history of the intense collaboration between KU Leuven (LMSD) and the University of Cincinnati (SDRL). A story that led to the ISMA conferences and courses and was an inspiring factor in the success of the KU Leuven spin-off LMS International (in 2012 acquired by Siemens, and integrated within Siemens Industrial Software as the Simulation and Test Solutions Business).
