Virtual conference format and technical programme

The ISMA-USD organization is proud to present below its 2020 technical programme with more than 300 contributions structured in 41 technical discussion sessions and published in full conference proceedings. Whereas the interactive tele/videoconferencing technical discussion sessions are scheduled during the conference days (September 7-9), the technical papers and all accompanying video presentations and posters will be made available to registered participants already prior to the conference. Participants will be able to ask questions and interact with the presenting authors before and during the conference days via the ISMA-USD virtual conference platform. In good tradition, the technical programme is accompanied by a technical exhibition, which has also been set up as a virtual event within the conference platform.

Below you can find

  • a tabular overview of the interactive discussion session timings (4 in parallel)
  • a detailed description of each session with information on all the individual contributions to that session.

The interactive discussion sessions will be moderated by Session Chairs who will invite presenting authors to shortly pitch/summarize their contribution to the live tele/videoconferencing audience. This pitch is then followed by Q&A where the authors will answer questions collected before the conference already via the virtual ISMA-USD conference platform but also raised live during the Q&A.
